Peggy first discovered yoga in 2016 when a foot injury restricted her ability to continue the more high-impact exercise classes she was enrolled in at the time. She soon discovered the benefits (mainly physical) that yoga had to offer and this became her main means of staying fit. Realizing that yoga is something she could practice for the rest of her life, she became a 200-Hour RYT through Yoga Core and More (O’Fallon, IL) at Four Yoga and Wellness (Breese, IL) in December 2018. Through this training, the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga became more and more apparent and her love for yoga grew even more.
Peggy strives to provide a fulfilling/uplifting class to students of all levels. Off the mat, Peggy is married to Mike and has 2 very busy teenage boys, Drew and Nate. She loves to spend time with family and watching her boys in their many sports activities. Her message to the yoga community: Yoga is a practice for everyone. You do not have to do fancy, difficult poses to reap the full benefits of yoga. Trying and pushing yourself to the next level is extremely rewarding! She looks forward to seeing you on your mat!
